We expect all of our pupils to be well behaved, have good manners and respect all of the other children and adults in the school.
The small groups in which the children are taught enables us to develop close relationships with the children. This demonstrates to them that they are valued individuals and helps them to develop their own self confidence and self esteem. School staff work hard to establish a “family” atmosphere which encourages older pupils to take care of the younger children and develops a culture of helping and valuing other people.
Here are our School Rules – You can see them on the school walls at Thomasson:
- Welcome visitors into our school.
- Keep our school tidy.
- Work hard.
- Play fairly in school.
- Be polite in school.
- Walk round school calmly.
- Be friendly and helpful.
- Do not bully or upset anyone.
