Communicate, Learn, Achieve

At Thomasson Memorial School our pupils are very special to us, we will build a community where children are more than just educated, where they all feel safe and supported. We will be good role models who inspire through a love of learning and be motivated to make a positive impact on each other’s lives.

We are a communication rich school, striving to create positive interaction as an effective tool for learning, understanding and expression. We do this by tailoring our approach to each pupil’s strengths and needs by using the full spectrum of spoken and sign communication within a framework of nurturing, challenge and support. We offer an innovative and diverse curriculum within and beyond the classroom so that our pupils can enjoy a love of learning.

We believe that each and every member of Thomasson has their own unique talents, skills and qualities.  We give our best to ensure that every pupil leaves our school with a strong sense of achievement, pride, confidence and identity so that they can move on to their next venture with the skills and values to set them on the path to achieve their dreams.
