Deaf Studies Curriculum

At Thomasson we follow the National Deaf Studies Curriculum which supports children in developing their confidence in their  identity and their pride in being a member of the Deaf community. The  lessons provide children with the opportunity to learn about their culture, heritage and about the different technology and communication methods that are available to them. We celebrate Deaf Awareness Week and BSL Day each year.
